The Art Community at Indian Orchard Mills

Indian Orchard Mills, a 300,000 square foot multi-tenant industrial complex, is dedicated to the growth of arts and industry. Nestled between the Chicopee River and a scenic canal in Springfield, Massachusetts, the complex is home to over 130 tenants, including the largest Artist Colony in the area and the Dane Gallery. Our diverse community includes science and art programs for kids, photographers, machine shops, furniture builders, cabinet makers, and many more. Twice a year, the Artists at IOM host open studios and gallery art shows in November and May.

The Dane Gallery

The newly remodeled Dane Gallery serves as the backdrop for our fabulous semi-annual open studio events, kicking off with a gallery reception. With soaring ceilings and ample hanging space, the gallery is perfect for both large shows and intimate gatherings. Whether you are a member artist or a visiting enthusiast, this is where it all begins. The Dane Gallery provides a dynamic and inspiring setting that enhances every event, making it a cornerstone of our vibrant art community at Indian Orchard Mills.

IOM Events

Stay up-to-date with the exciting artist events at Indian Orchard Mills. Twice a year, in November and May, the Artists at IOM host open studios and gallery art shows and sales, showcasing the incredible work of local artists. These events begin with a grand gallery reception at the Dane Gallery, offering an excellent opportunity to meet the artists and explore their creations. Art Classes

Join the Meeshka Fine Art Summer Art Program at The Dane Gallery. Running Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., this program offers a fantastic opportunity for aspiring artists to develop their skills in a creative and supportive environment.
